Man City v Leicester and More

Man City Family Day
Me and Joe went up to Manchester this weekend to see Man City play Leicester.  Before the game we went to Man City Family Day.  It was in one of the training areas....a full sized indoor astro turf pitch.  Joe met the Man City mascot....Moonchester...
We played some football pool...
And Joe had a go at Zorb Football.  All great fun...

The Game - Man City 5 v 1 Leicester City
We crossed the bridge to the stadium...
They gave all the kids at the Family Day a free scarf....Blue Mooooooon!
The atmosphere builds...
Kevin de Bruyne taking a free-kick for city.  City won 5v1 with Sergio Aguero scoring four goals in the second half.  It was an amazing performance from the whole team.  Kevin de Bruyne provided three assists...which is his record for one game...

Manchester Science Museum
The next day went went to the Manchester Science and Technology Museum.  They had a special exhibition on ROBOTS...."take me to your leader!!!"

This baby was an experiment in realistic robotics....it was very very realistic...

Man City Stadium Tour
That evening we went for the Man City Stadium Tour...Joe is ready to go....

We went down the tunnel and out to the edge of the pitch.  Joe sneaked a toe on the hallowed turf...

And in the posh 'Tunnel Club' seats...only £14,000 for a season ticket here!!!

Bowling
That night we went to the Trafford Centre for a spot of ten-pin bowling...

Drayton Manor Theme Park
Last morning at our hotel in Manchester....snow on the ground...
On the way home we stopped at Drayton Manor Theme Park.....Dodgems!!!!
And Joe being the bravest on the Accelerator Roller Coaster....
They also had a zoo....This is 'Boy George'
Great trip....I need a rest now :-)
