Ramona & Sushi

Today me and Lisa went to see 'Ramona & Beezus' at Gunwharf. 95p Saturday morning cinema. Afterwards we tried out the new Yo Sushi...

We went over to Old Portsmouth for a mooch about. Here's Lisa being a tower....

This weekend we headed down to Croyde for the Coalie Tour 2010. Here's the highly tuned athletes of the Coal Exchange Football Team discussing tactics on the long drive to Cider country. Sam, Pat, James, Dunc, Jimmer, Jez.

We turned off the main road onto the moors near Tiverton and stopped at the Stags in Rackenford. I think we probably doubled their nights takings! Pat made sure he got a receipt?!?!

SATURDAY SURFING AND GOLF : Derek had everyone up at the crack of dawn for a sumptuous breakfast before heading out surfing. Jez, Simon, Chalkie, Geoff, Del and Tim..

In the afternoon we played golf at the Portsmore Golf Club in Barnstable on their par 3 nine hole course. Here's Tim lining up for one his 'warm-up' shots.

The Coalie Ryder Cup Team...Sam, James, Tim, Pat, Geoff, Dunc, Chalkie, Danny, Simon, (Derek - behind the camera).

And the winners. Sam won the wooden spoon with a score of 64. Chalkie won the Coalie Hack Cup with 38...

Back at Warcombe Farm. Our beautiful chalet maids, Del and Tim, cooked up a fantastic Chilli and Thai curry...

SUNDAY FOOTBALL : Today, after another morning surf, we played a football match against the Croyde Surfer Boyz. The Coalie FC : Back Row - Sam, Jimmer, Dunc, Tim, Geoff, Chalkie, Danny. Front Row - James, Simon, Derek, Pat, Jez.

It was a tough game and we scored first with a diving header from Geoff. Dunc and Simon race one of the Surfer Boyz to the ball...

"We all dreaming of a team of Wedderburns" (to the tune of Yellow Submarine)...

At half-time it was 1v1. Joe the ref tells Derek he might get booked for the dodgy beard in the second half....and he did.

A brilliant tour. Thanks to Derek and Tim for organising the fantastic accomodation, food and surfing. Geoff for sorting (and driving) the minibus. James for the shirts. And everyone for making it the best tour yet.
