ISLE OF WIGHT BIKE TRIP
Me, Chalkie and Geoffer hit the Isle of Wight on our bikes for a few days to see what hills and beer the island had to offer...

MONDAY - DAY 1
We got the ferry over to East Cowes and headed for the Fishbourne Inn via Newport and Arreton...

Chalkie on a knarly(ish) trail towards Arreton...We were staying in the Fishbourne Inn. I think the boys are glad to be there after a spot of mountain biking in the dark!

TUESDAY - DAY 2
Today we headed south to Wroxhall Down which promised great views and spectacular biking. With a ride back on the IOW train to finish the day...

We found our way to Shanklin. Here we are riding the old London tube carriages of the IOW railway from Shanklin back to Ryde. Just time for a spot of Facebooking...
WEDNESDAY - DAY 3
Today we caught the ferry over to Pompey and rode home via the Hayling Ferry and the Billy Line...
It feels a bit more like Febuary today. Chilly on the Hayling Ferry...
Emsworth! The Coalie was shut so we celebrated with a very welcome pint in the Blue Bell...
