Beautiful Days 2010

This weekend we went to the Beautiful Days Festival in the grounds of Escot House in Devon... Lisa dancing to Hobbo Jones and the Junkyard Dogs playing 'Gordon is a Moron'...

The Festival ran a kids fire juggling class during the day. When it got dark the kids did their performance. Me and Lisa were mesmerised late into the night....

The worst circus skills act. They burnt themselves, dropped axes on each other and got stuck in their straight jackets. Very funny though...

Monday Morning. Time to pack up and head back to the car. It's a good job we've got a strong pram...
What a brilliant festival. Great company, great music, great fun....see you next year!

London Karen & Lisa

Today Karen and Lisa went up to London to have tea with the Queen. The changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace... They checked out the Royal Mews complete with golden coach...
Next they flew over to the Natural History Museum to look at the Butterfly exhibition. This is a zebra butterfly....
They also had a climbing frame...

The Vintage Festival

Mary had a stall at the Goodwood Vintage Festival this weekend and she managed to sneak me in. The idea of the festival is to celebrate all things good from to 40s-80s. There were lots of vintage bikes, scooters and cars... This is the High Street. I popped in Fortnum's for some pate you know...
Here's Mary on her stall looking very 1940's. Great display and seemed to be selling well...
I dragged myself out of the champagne tent to check out Kid Creole and the Coconuts on the main stage....
Here's a blast from the past. The Wall of Death, just like the one we used to watch when we were kids...
There were various other attractions in the woods...
An interesting time....unlike any festival I've been to before. Cheers Mez.

New Forest Camping

We went camping for a few days in the New Forest. We stayed at an outdoor activity centre called Avon Tyrrell. Here's Lisa and Joe chillin by the tent... The activity centre is based around this old house. Lisa found it a great place to practise her bike riding...
