I went to see Billy Bragg do his Woodie Guthrie set.  With lots of 'Free Pussy Riot' messages thrown in.  Brilliant as ever....

SUNDAY : Grinding flour to make bread rolls.  Joe, Lisa, Karen, Ian, Isabella, Deborah and Natasha...

We went down to the front to see Bellowhead.  Brilliant celtic punk psycho folk rock.  I think my favourite band of the festival (apart from the Levellers playing 'Beautiful Day')...

As usual The Levellers closed the festival.  With a monster firework display during their last number...

Yet another brilliant five days at the Beautiful Days Festival.  Can't wait til next year...

Olympic Football Final

Me and Geoff went up Wembley to see the Olympic Football Gold Medal Match.  Mexico v Brazil.  Brazil were the big favourites.  Here's Geoff and Bobby Moore outside Wembley Stadium...

The Brazillian Samba Bands and Mexican Casatanetas arriving down Wembley Way...

Mexico kick off and score 32 seconds into the game, before many people have even taken their seats.  The upset is on.  The crowd of 86,000 is the biggest of the Olympics.

And amazingly Mexico win 2 v 1.  The Mexicans say it is the biggest win their football history...

Great day out....maybe it'll be GB next time :-)

London Olympics

Me and Karen spent the day in London today at the Olympics.  First stop was Hyde Park for the Open Water swimming.  The British swimmer Keri-Anne Payne was one of the favourites for the gold medal..

Coming up to the finish.  Unfortunately Keri-Anne only managed fourth place...

We headed over to the Olympic Park in Stratford.  Left to Right : Aquatic Centre, Orbit Tower, Athletics Stadium and Karen.

We had tickets for the Women's Handball Semi-final in the Basketball Arena...

The giant Norweignians (in white) supported by thousands of fans and hundreds of cow bells beat the South Koreans to reach the final..

We caught the new cable car over to the North Greenwich Arena..

In the North Greenwich Arena we saw the Women's Basketball Semi-Final.  France v Russia.  It was a brilliant game...

We had a great day out at the Olympics....can we have it again next year?  Me and Mrs Fellows and the Olympic Stadium...

Isle of Wight

Me and the kids went over to the Isle of Wight for a few days.  Cowes Marina.  Joe, Lily, Lisa, Iris and Julia...

Reggie's Gran and Grandad came to collect him from the IOW on their boat.  We all went aboard for lunch..
