Coal Exchange v Sportsmans

The mighty Coal Exchange FC took on Sportsmans FC today in a West Sussex League Div 4 clash.

Coal Exchange FC :

Back : Alex, Steve, Geoff, Nathan, Big Dunc, Martin, Little Dunc.

Front : Brad, Joe, Jake, Graham, Rob and Adam.

Despite an early goal from the Sportsmans it was an even game...

The Coalie made some great chances...

It was 2 v 1 to the Sportsmans at half-time.  Churchillian motivational speech from the Gaffa...

The Coalie defence held out heroically in the second half, despite losing influential centre back Rob.  Sportsmans went 3v1 up.  Coalie pulled one back and it looked being a tight finish.  3v2. 

Towards the end Big Dunc in goal was injured and we shipped another couple of goals.  The game finished : Sportsmans 5 v 2 Coal Exchange.  A good performance despite the scoreline.

Lisa's Sleepover Party

At half-time it was 2v2.  Two goals from 'Hot-Shot' Geoff for the Old Boys.  Half-time...

In the second half Geoffer got his hat-trick with a classic looping header.  The final score was 3v3.  Football was the winner :-)

A brilliant game and a great day.  Thanks to everyone for making it such a fantastic event.  Looking forward to next year already...
