England 20-20 Cricket

We went to see the Twenty20 Cricket at the Rose Bowl in Southampton today. It was Dad's birthday treat from the lads...

The Barmy Emsworth Army...Freddy, Will, Reggie, Dad and Pete... 

Australia batted first and Aaron Finch scored an amazing 156 off 63 balls, including 14 sixes. It was awesome to watch. This was the Highest International Twenty20 score ever and the most sixes in an innings.  Also 248 was the second highest International Twenty20 innings ever.

England had a good go at matching Australia but fell short by 39 runs....

Great fun!

England 3 v 2 Scotland

England vs Scotland at Wembley.  Joe's first England game.  Phil was visiting from the US so he brought Colin and Simon.  In the Green Man pub before the game...

Come on England.  Scotland score first.  Then England score.  1v1 at Half-time.

In the second half Scotland go ahead again, but England equalise to make it 2v2.  Then Ricky Lambert comes on and scores the winner with his first touch as an England player...

Brilliant game and a great result...England 3 v 2 Scotland.

Balloon Festival

We stopped at Helen and Gareth's on the way back from Poppit.  They took us to the Bristol Balloon Festival...
