Lisa won the Barker Trophy for the best Youth and Child Photograph at the Emsworth Show today....

Here's the photo.  Joe on the beach at Poppit trying to catch a frisbee.  Thanks to Papa for helping her to print and mount the picture...

She also won first prize in the fudge making and second prize in handwriting....Go Lisa!!!

River Cottage Festival

We went to River Cottage Festival today, near Lyme Regis.  Joe and Karen running away to the circus...

Beautiful Days Festival 2017

It's Beautiful Days!!!   Me and Karen, Peter, Joe, Iris, Lily and Lisa.  Mary and Lola were also there camping with their friends a little way up the hill....

Joe insisted on going to see Stiff Little Fingers.  They were excellent....

Joe tried the 'wrong bike' (the handle bars turn one and the wheel goes the opposite way) and the spinning ladder.  He didn't win the £20!

Another great festival.  Time to pack up :-(    How many spotty bags can you get on a pram?

AND....on the way home the car went over 150,000 miles. That's from Emsworth to Beautiful Days 1000 times!

Avebury Amberley and Wye

We went spent a few days at Will's in Amberley (they were away on their hols).  On the way we stopped at Avebury to see the stone cricles....

The next day we had a trip to the Wye Valley.  Me and Lisa had a paddle down the River Wye from Kerne Bridge to Symonds Yat.  About 9 miles....

Back at the house the kids made whirlpools in the pool....
