New Car - Skoda Fabia Estate

Big News today....I bought a new car.  Skoda Fabia Estate 1.6.

I traded in the old car.  The garage had it up for sale the next day....  :-)

Joe cubs Submarine Camp

Joe and Seth went to the Cub 'camp' at the Submarine Museum in Gosport...

They had a trip round the sub...

Slept in the museum...they showed a film...."Night at the Museum" :-)

Joe's team won the overall trophy for all the Under 9 teams in Havant, Portsmouth, Fareham and Gosport.  Well done lads....   No 1 out of 44 teams.

Plymouth Away - Me Peter Joe

Me, Joe and Pete went down to West Country to see Pompey play Plymouth.  We stopped for a pre-match drink at one of old student haunts, the James Street Vaults...

Good atmosphere, but the game finished 0v0.  Doesn't look like Pompey will be reaching the play-offs now...

Down to the Barbican and a burger at Cap'n Jaspers...another student regular of mine back in the day...

Isle of Wight Visit

We went over to the IOW for a couple of days to see Pete, Julia, Lily and Iris.  Peter and Julia cooked up the usual fantastic feast....

We had a walk on Ryde beach...

The kids found some interesting shell fish on a log...

And we had a game of 10 pin bowling....

Pete sneaked the victory...home advantage!

Chamonix Ski 2018

We jetted off to Chamonix this week for a few days on the slopes with Simon, Tory & George, and Roland, Lyzz, Amelie and Fraser.  Lisa and Joe out on the slopes of Brevent...

Our apartment is in the old Majestic Hotel...quite the place to stay back in the day....!
