Camping on Fowley

Me and Joe decided to camp on Fowley Island tonight :-)   On the way in the suneet, Joe is loaded up with all the gear....

It was a lovely night on our grassy mattress....

Making our way back the next day...

On the way back we bumped into Seth out on his new paddle board...

Amsterdam with Lisa

Me and Lisa went for a wee city break in Amsterdam...

We did a lovely canal boat trip round the city....  Love the wobbly houses....

And all the little bridges...

We went to see Anne Frank's House....

We had some very yummy Stroopwafels...

And had a cheese tasting...

We went to the Amsterdam Tulip Museum which was much more interesting than it sounded :-)

And spent the evening wandering around the canals....

Lovely trip...(even though the hottest day on record!)

Fowley Island with Lisa

I had a lovely sunset kayak out to Fowley Island with Lisa this evening...

We had a BBQ on Fowley and added some Samphire to our hotdogs...

Castle Utd IOW Tour

Joe's footy team played on the IOW today.  On the ferry.  Joe looking nearly as tall as his mum... 

They played Vectis at the school where Julia teaches and Lily and Iris go...

Joe's dodgy throw in....watch that line!  Good game.  They lost 7v5.

We all went down to Sandown for some fun on the beach...

And in the sea...

Me and Karen had a nice walk along the beach and a nice drink by  the beach with all the parents...
