Verona and Venice with Joe

Me and Joe had a half term trip to Verona.  We went to see Hellas Verona play their last game of the season against the league winners Inter Milan...   Forza Verona :-)

Good game and very noisy.  It finished 2v2.

Next day we got the bus to Peschiera on Lake Garda.  Spaghetti Carbonara for lunch...

We hired this motor boat for a trip on the lake.

And then had a go at driving....

Back in Verona...

We had dinner by the Roman Amphitheatre.... Saluti...

Next day we had a trip to Venice...

We wandered down to St Marks Square...

We got lost and found a place for lunch....

Back in Verona we had a 'last night' ice cream...

Ciao Verona..... Flying back over the Alps...

Joe - Bosham FC Awards

It was the Bosham FC Presentations tonight.  Joe cleared up with Player's Player, Parent's Player and Manager's Player :-)

Farnham Bike Ride

The Thursday mountain bike gang did a ride to Farnham this weekend, stopping at 'Royal Oak' pubs.  First Royal Oak in Lavant...

It was supposed to be a road/gravel ride, but it got a tad steep :-)

Joe's first Refereeing

Joe recently took a referee course and today was his first refereeing appointment.  It was a junior tournament in Shoreham...

He did a great job...

He reffed the final and it went to penalties...

We stopped in to see Lisa in Brighton on the way home, and went for a pizza :-)
