Euro 2024 England v Slovakia

Me and Joe flew over to Germany this weekend to see England play in Euro 2024.  The night before the England game Germany were playing Denmark.  We went to the fan zone near the Dortmund stadium.

There was a bit lightning storm so we we found a bar and watched the Germany game with Germans and Belgiums...

The next day we went to Gelsenkirchen (Shalke's stadium) for the England v Slovakia game.

Slovakia were leading until the 95th minute, when Bellingham scored an overhead kick to make it 1v1. 

Kane scored in extra time to put England through to the 1/4 Finals.  Amaaazing :-)

IOW Festival - Green Day

Me and went to the IOW Festival with Peter and various others today :-)

We saw the amazing Green Day amongst many others...

And bumped into Debs...she was here for Simple Minds.

Kayak to Langstone with Joe

Me and Joe kayaked over to the Royal Oak at Langstone and met Karen for a drink.

Great fun.  My first time on the water for about 18 months.

Sailing with the Coles

Me and Joe went out for a sail with Stu and Ned this evening :-)

Sailing into the harbour entrance near the Hayling Island Sailing Club.

We sailed up towards Emsworth and saw a few families of seals...

Joe Golf - Hole in One!

Me and Joe played pitch and put over at Hayling this evening.  Joe got a Hole-In-One on the 100 yard 5th hole!  Amazing. 

He said he is going to keep that ball :-)

The rest of the round was very average :-)

Red Sky at Coalie Fest

Red Sky (Me, Jimmer & Ralphie) played the Coalie Fest today :-)

The Coalie garden was packed...

It was a lovely day and the beer was flowing
