Castle Tournament HandW

Today Castle Utd U9s took part in the Havant & Waterlooville Football Tournament. Jenson, Ollie, Ned, Joe, Henry, Stan, Max and Ro.

Castle started well and won the first two games...

Then drew one and lost one...

We thought the team had missed the chance of playing in the semis, but they called us back for a playoff...

Sound of Music

The plan was to sit out by the bandstand in Southsea on a balmy warm summer evening and watch the Sound of Music.  It turned out to be a bit chilly....but still good fun :-)

Festival of Speed

Me and Joe had a lads day out at the Festival of Speed today...

Joe entered a motorbike race...

And he got some ideas for bike tricks in the garden!!!

There were some BMX riders too, but they spent most of their time on their phones...teenagers :-)

There were lots of virtual reality driving games to have a go on...

We went to have a look at the hill climb race....

We sat in the grandstand by the Molecomb corner....

One car didn't quite make it round....opps....

We liked this old car in the paddocks, and then saw it race past on the hill climb....

What!?!?!   Top fuel Dragster.  These car do 0-60 mph in 0.2 seconds!
