Getting Out in Lockdown

A Walk in the Woods
We had a walk north of Stansted from Oldhouse Lane through the woods to Watergate Hanger. Joe was fascinated with the tree overhanging one of the old quarries...

I had a trip out on the water with Jezza.  We bumped into Simon, Tory and George...

We had a lovely walk through the woods at East Dean.  Another super hot and sunny day...

Me and Joe planted some runner beans...
We deserved glass of orange juice after all that planting.  Runner beans, spring onions and we potted up some pea seeds...
Walk - Inholmes Wood
We had a very nice walk through Inholmes Wood, north of Stoughton...
The hills are alive with the sound of children chatting :-)

Lots of black headed gulls nesting on Fowley.  The birds have had a great time during the lockdown...
Bike Ride - Stoughton
Me and Joe had a hot ride up to Stoughton....
We had a mini picnic in a field near the Kingley Vale car park...
Child Labour
The kids cleaned and painted the decking.  Does this count as home schooling :-)

We went for a ride past Racton and out to West Marden.  Joe says the bike is great :-)

Fun School
Fun School is 10-11 each morning..
Joe wrote about a typical day watching Pompey.  One thing he is really missing at the moment.

Karen borrowed Lisa's sewing machine to keep her occupied while she is on furlough..
Strange things are happening. Joe tidied up his room.  It took him two whole days, but the results are fantastic...

Food

The kids took over the kitchen and it was pizza and peppermint creams for dinner :-)
Joe loves a BBQ, especially playing with the fire afterwards...
Most exciting!!!!  I found a three layer custard cream!
Out
We went out for a nice quiet walk along the sea front in Emsworth...
The sunset on the way home was lovely...
And something fell out......my crown.  The dentist says it should be OK until after the Lock Down.  No pain yet.  Fingers crossed.
