East Dean Walk

We had a lovely walk through the woods near East Dean, and a very nice meal in the Star and Garter afterwards.  My first venison...   Cheers...

New Fence

My biggest DIY job during lock down was to put up a new fence. It's done!

Joe was a great help breaking up the old fence, and the old shed...

11 panels, metal posts and I built a little wall...

And I cleaned to patio.....

Back to work for a rest :-)

Dad's Birthday

It was Dad's birthday today.  He is holding the picture Joe painted for him...

We went for a pizza and a pint in the Kings Arms afterwards...Eat Out to Help Out :-)

Poppit 2020

We set off for our holiday in Poppit today.  Joe face masked up for the service station.

Straight onto the beach when we arrive.  Joe's friend Caleb is also here as usual  :-)

We had a walk up the hill over looking Poppit.  I should make this photo into a postcard :-)

The tide was down during the day, which meant nice walks around to the Old Lifeboat Station...

I kayaked round with Joe when the tide was rather high.  Spot the wave breaking over the jetty...

Joe and Caleb buried a big 'valuable' stone.  They intend to dig it up again next year.  It is 75 spade lengths from the lifebelt post...

We had a nice paddle up and down the Teifi with Graham and Caleb...

The kids spotted a rope swing and had great fun launching themselves into the water...
