Villa 2 v 1 Spurs FA Cup

On the way back from watching Pompey in Sheffield, me and Joe stopped in Birmingham to watch Villa play Spurs in the FA Cup.  On the way we stopped in at The Vine, an amazing Desi pub near West Brom.  Best pre-match grub ever...

We were up on the Holt End.  Villa won 2v1.  First appearance for Rashford.  Great stop :-)

Sheff Utd 2 v 1 Pompey

Me and Joe drove up to Sheffield to watch Pompey play Sheffield Utd.  We met Jack Veness and his mates in a pub before the game.  Jack went to Uni in Sheffield.

Bramhall Lane.  Come on Pompey.

Sheff Utd scored first, but we equalised.  1v1 at half-time.

But we couldn't hold on for the draw.  Lost 2v1 :-(

We went out for dinner in China Town to commiserate...

Wrong result, but great trip.

Visit Lisa - Martha Gunn

I popped down to see Lisa in Brighton today.  We went for Sunday lunch in the marvellous Martha Gunn pub.

West Brom 5 v 1 Pompey

We went up to Birmingham today with Will and Pete to see Pompey play West Brom.  Cheers. 

Cracking stadium.  Let's hope it brings Pompey some luck.

In the end we lost 5v1.  Good day out though.  PUP.

Snowy Kingley Bike Trip

We had a very cold and snowy ride up Kingley Vale tonight.

A well deserved pint in the Kings Arms.

Balti House 2025

We had a night out at the Bombay Express Balti House in Southsea to celebrate the New Year :-)

It's a big year for us this year with GCSEs, Final Year at Uni, Turning 60 etc.   Have a great one everyone.
