Coventry v Pompey STAYIN UP!

Me and Joe went up to see Pompey play at Coventry tonight.  Pompey could secure a place in the Championship for next season today....and Coventry could win it.

Coventry won so they won the league, but because of results elsewhere Pompey stay up.  Everyone happy.

On the way back,  the next day, we stopped at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon.  They had my old car in the first room....MKI Ford Escort 1300 XL.  Brilliant.  Mine was red, but otherwise the same car :-)  Mine was OWD 313M.

Joe has grown a bit since we came here 7 years ago....

 

Joe Bosham Footy

Joe's Under 18 Bosham team played their last ever game today.  It was the play off for the league.  They lost, but the Bosham youth team has been brilliant fun....

Joe now plays for Bosham men's teams.  Here he is playing for Bosham Reserves at Bognor's ground.

Portland and Vancouver

Me and Joe flew over to Portland Oregon (and Vancouver) for our Easter Ski trip.  Flying with Iceland Air over Greenland....

PORTLAND.   We made it to Phil's place in Portland Oregon :-)

We drove south towards Mt Bachelor for a few days on the piste....

We met Richie and Colin (Phil's son) at Mt Bachelor.  Joe, Philler, Me and Richie.  

We stayed in a great little place in Sun river.  The red car is Phil's.  The white 'A-Team' van is Richie's. 

We had some lovely powder snow in Mt Bachelor.   Joe in the pow....

Well deserved Mexican grub.  Joe, Me, Richie, Colin and Phil.

VANCOUVER.   Me and Joe headed up to Vancouver Canada for some touristing and some more snowboarding.  Here's Joe down by the beach at English Bay. 

We went to see the Vancouver Canucks play the Portland Timbers in BC Place.  It was an exciting game.  Vancouver won 3v2 with two goals in extra time.  Including a penalty from Thomas Muller.  Great fun.

We had a game of pitch n putt, and had to contend with some awkward locals :-)

Granville Island.

We did a couple of days snowboarding up at Cypress Mountain.  Reggie works here, and Karen used to :-)   Amazing views over the city.

We went to see the Vancouver Canucks ice hockey team play the Vegas Knights.  The Canucks lost 2v1.

We flew home from Portland, with the various snowy mountains on the horizon. 

What an amazing trip.  Great to see you guys.

The Snutts in Brighton

Me and Joe went to see The Snutts in Brighton.  Mucking about on the pier....

Lisa's Graduation

Today was Lisa's Graduation from Brighton University.  Cheers...

Lisa graduated with a BSc hons in Geography.  Great work Lisa.

Preston v Pompey

Me and Joe had a trip up to Preston today to see Pompey play Preston FC.  Quick pre-match drinkie.

Unfortunately we lost 1v0, but a fun trip.   Play Up Pompey.

Crystal Tides in Pompey

Joe, Karen and me went to the Wedgewood Rooms to see local band Crystal Tides.  The ticket was a vinyl album.  They managed to get the album in the top 40.  First independent band from Pompey to do that :-)
