Parking Ticket!

It seems that they even have Traffic Wardens in paradise! I got a ticket for parking on the pavement outside our local shop, where everyone always parks on the pavement so that other cars can get past. Apparently if I'd been on the road blocking the place up I wouldn't have got a ticket.

To recover from the shock of my first (ever!) parking ticket, we hit the beach and had a couple of beers in the Al Mare...
Fri am update : I took my 200Rupees (about 10 quid) to the courthouse this morning to pay my parking ticket. A very grumpy cashier took my money, stamped about a dozen forms, and gave me three receipts. They love their paperwork here.
