La Digue is a small island, about 2miles long and a mile wide. Until recently there were no cars on the island, just ox-carts. Although there are some vehicles now (and a couple of miles of paved road) you don't generally see them and everyone goes everywhere on push-bikes. We went out for a walk.
Karen and Lisa at Source d'Argent on La Digue, supposedly the most photographed beach in the world. It is very pretty. Lisa holding the rock up...she is pretty strong!
Karen wouldn't let me buy a palm hat. She said it wouldn't suit me?!
A little Fody who shared our lunch.
Lisa heading off for a swim. She is getting very confident in the water now, particularly with her arm bands. Karen is usually hovering around nearby worrying about her!
After a bit of snorkelling we retired to the hotel and yet another dunk in the pool. Great view of Fruit Bats, Fairy Terns and White Tailed Tropic birds flying around above the pool as we were swimming.
